What does a marketing and management degree actually teach?
I’m interested in going into marketing as a career, but I’m not sure what exactly I would be learning in school. If it’s just going to be something I could find out by reading a book, why would I want to go school for it?

You know it really depends what you want to do with your future career. Marketing is a broad spectrum, and can have very fluzzy jobs. I would start looking on monster or even you local newspaper to get an idea of what types of jobs are most popular in the area that you will reside.
I went to college and received my Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. It was the most interesting and fun degree as it evaluated many aspects of creative marketing, Market research, etc.
Basically, you must get a Business Degree if you want to have a secure future career.
