big, colorful posters around hot spots. that may seem simple but people can’t resist “prettyyyy coloooooors”.

Hi,
You should use the FREE coke with purchase of pizza slice. Free bottle with purchase of large pizza. Have someone stand outside the store with the big boards (called sandwich boards) and advertize your free coke with pizza promo. You can also send flyers with the grand opening promotion of free pop with pizza purchase. Tell them to bring in the flyer to get their free pop with pizza. Also make sure you drop off flyers at all the local high schools. High school kids love pizza. Good luck

You need to figure out a budget.

Consider yellow page ads, val pac inserts, daily newspaper ad w/ coupon, radio. You could put flyers on people’s cars at the grocery or mall or band them and put them on doorhandles at the apartments. You could go by businesses and deliver a pie for free and give coupons. It is endless.

First decide the budget, then find out what everything costs, then figure ouot what mix you can afford that reaches the most – and the most likely to visit.

You could also sponsor a football and baseball team and discount their pizzas after games. Remember to budget for throughout the year.

Have like a massive discounted opening day (crazy prices which beat all competitors), and like announce it everywhere (brochures, bill board infront of the shopping centre), so people will just go to get a cheap pizza for the hell of it…and if they’re any good, they’ll most likely come back in the future.. Don’t look too cheapo tho

Have one of your staff take some pizzas, paper plates, sodas and napkins to a different local business every day for a couple of weeks. Don’t tell the businesses in advance that you’re going to give them free food and arrive just before lunch hour. Make sure to be friendly and leave some promotional fliers when you leave. Be sure to bring enough food for everyone in the office/workplace.

It might be a good idea to include the local police station in this promotion; it never hurts to befriend the local cops. Think about including a construction site if there’s one near you. You want to become the place where working people go for lunch.

Consider having a “low-price day” toward the end of the month when people are trying to make it to pay day. Make sure to promote it so people know about it.

Are there any local celebrities? Name some menu items after them.

Insert your listing into directories.

Just keep looking around. Directories ARE helpful.

If you want to see aa couple of ideas for promoting a pizza shop check out the video on Youtube. Also the imprinted pizza cutter is fabulous. Give one away with each new pizza order for a month and see how your repeat business increases.
