Market orientation: the firm tries to get the company to produce what the customer wants.

Sales orientation: the firm focuses on the skills of selling rather than on the needs of the buyer.

Jays mon got it right but this is an example.

I got behind on picking up my dog’s stuff… So I picked it up out of the back yard and put it in a great big box, I could hardly lift it. It wouldn’t fit in the trash can we had and I wasn’t going to put it back in the yard. It also started to smell just something awful, I mean really bad. So I went in the house and got some pretty wrapping paper and ribbon. I even put a big bow on it. I put it in the back of my dad’s pick up truck before he went to work. He came home from work and said someone stole that darn thing. Can you believe that someone would steal my crap? You can move anything if you know how.
