How can I pitch a marketing idea to a company without getting screwed?

I have ideas for several companies and I want to pitch it to them, but I don’t know how to go about it. I have no experience in marketing and I want to know how to approach it without loosing any credit for my idea. Any ideas? Read the story »

whats the best source of address data for direct marketing?


need to do a very localized direct marketing (mail) campaign and am looking for the best way to fill up my list with address within say 5 sq miles or a given target city.

automated methods preferred..

Mr. Johnson,

I would be willing to CASS certify and sequence your list for free, in a format which you could print onto sticky lables. This would allow you to receive the lowest possible postage rate. (provided you have access to a local bulk permit number)
In return all I ask is that you drop me a line regtarding the results of your campaign. Studying direct mail keeps me sharp in my own business dealings.

Alternatively, I can assist you in this project from printing to assembly to delivery.
