What area should I start working on in Internet Marketing?

I am 24. I play guitars (advanced) and the piano. I am good at programming and puzzle solving. I am pretty much everything a perfect computer geek needs to be. I am planning to start off a company before which I will need to get a feel of how marketing works on the internet. I would like to create niche blogs but I don’t see where I should start and what topic would be ideal for me. Could you suggest a way for me to get things going.

Blog about what you know to start with and get a feel for it. Get a couple of free blogs at Wordpress on the go.

Niche blogs are fine, but why keep yourself to blogs only? Find a niche and take it over with not just a blog but also a regular web page selling your main product, a HyperVRE page and a forum so that your visitors can interact with each other, not just you (as in a blog).

The two resources below will give you some ideas on which of the thousands of niches to choose. Concentrate on getting just one niche well covered first before moving on to the next one, and so on.

Hope this helps.

Surely there are lots of ways on how to start internet marketing. You can start having your own free-hosted blog and write worthwhile contents that you know. You may start exchanging links with other bloggers and link partners. You may also do bookmarking and join internet marketing communities. Be able to know good ways to spread your blogs throughout the web.

If you are good at guitars and piano, you can find some relative products in ebay, get their affiliate ID, and making blogs for that. Choosing products that you are really interested in so you would know that product would really benefit people. It’s the key to guarantee you to have continued motivation to walk on and on.
