Start with your local Farm Bureau or Cooperative Extension Service. They know the farmers.

Call on businesses that sell to farmers … tractor companies, seed companies, ranch supply companies. Ask for references.

Best of all, find out the local cafe where the farmers come to eat breakfast (there is one, trust me. The little lady doesn’t cook much any more.) Become a regular. Get to know the guys.

None of this is a short term fix. Heavy advertising is a short term fix, but very, very expensive and it doesn’t always work. Develop friends, develop relationships. These will sustain you over the long haul.

something to consider in your approach…when handing out business cards or flyers / direct mail to a given area…be sure to focus on things that are relative to that area. What really grabs peoples interest is when they read about something that is relevant to them…like…the homes in the area rising 10K in value over the last 6 months.

Most realtors tend spend most of their advertsiing time and space telling about themselves. ..which is impoortant to communicate..but not the priority.

be a problem solver…an authority in your feild of expertise….and that is what will attract money to you.
