How can I pitch a marketing idea to a company without getting screwed?

SEO & SEM, yes it is the same thing… sponsored search is, like some ads, for example, if you do some search on search engine with some keyword, the first listed search is the sponsored search because the site owner pays to get listed on the first search.

The marketing is paying to get your site to appear first in the search. It is just one small part of the entire Search Engine. A sponsor pays to allow someone else to exist. You can sponsor a race car or you can sponsor someone in a charity walk.
I have the feeling that you have an idea to make some money on the web. Do you. /
