How can I pitch a marketing idea to a company without getting screwed?
I have ideas for several companies and I want to pitch it to them, but I don’t know how to go about it. I have no experience in marketing and I want to know how to approach it without loosing any credit for my idea. Any ideas?

Wow. I didn’t know they do lattes now. Interesting… Their Green Mountain coffee is delicious, but I don’t think their coffee & lattes are going to have a significant effect on Starbucks.

i think it’s not going to affect Starbucks not that much. because people are starting to leave to “the new stuff”but tend to go back to the old ways, that’s how i know starbucks it wont sell out but it’ll need to keep up with the compition. Starbucks just came out with this holiday egg nog cappicino. it already got published in a Cosmopolitan Magazine! anyways..
I dont be that bad, besides McDonalds Iced coffee isn’t that great tasting and I know i tasted it! can you say YUCK!

i don’t think starbucks will have a problem staying competitive. people don’t necessarily go to starbucks because of the quality of there coffee (actually, their coffee isn’t that great, very over roasted) they go there because of their image and atmosphere. it is a relaxing environment with comfortable seating, wifi access, ect… as opposed to a dirty fast food restaurant full of screaming children. plus it has a high quality brand image. people would rather be seen with a starbucks cup than a mcdonalds cup.
though i’m sure mcdonalds will sell a lot of their lattes, i don’t think it will affect starbucks’ business too much. image/ brand identity is a very important component of marketing, and starbucks has a very strong brand identity, and a large market share which i don’t think they will lose to mcdonalds.
