How can I pitch a marketing idea to a company without getting screwed?
I have ideas for several companies and I want to pitch it to them, but I don’t know how to go about it. I have no experience in marketing and I want to know how to approach it without loosing any credit for my idea. Any ideas?

To what degree do you think e-business is having a radical effect on business in general?
To what degree do you think e-business is having a radical effect on business in general? Or do you feel that e-business merely acts as a means of enhancing an existing business?

Its enhancing all existing businesses at this point. Coming from a family business, a small business would say, “If your not on the web…you don’t exist”! Example: A local farmer from the Central California market area can now sell their products to someone in Texas much easier then 10, 11 or 12 years ago. Everything is much easier to get a hold of like movie ticket information, weather even gas prices. This is how it has effected business in general overall, but the effect has been good due to information has been much easier to get but it also effects businesses that are not on the web on the negative side because less people turn to them due to their limited source of information.

In some sectors, e-business is changing the face of the business. You will only have to look at your friendly bookstores to understand it. While these stores are facing huge financial crises, online book stores( such as Amazon) are making huge profits. It is entirely not feasible to say that e-business is having a radical effect, we can safely say that it is having a huge impact especially with the young people.
More and more people have stated using e-business for purchase primarily because the products are cheap and convenient to buy.
Purchasing books, tickets, electronic goods, bank transactions e.t.c are contributing to the growth of e-business.
In 2008, less then 7% of over all transactions are done online.however, this will change in the comming years and it is predicited that by year 2020 more than 50% of business will be done online.
Major factors that are preventing the growth are the fear of fraudential transactions and quality of goods delivered.
e-business is preferred by the companies since they will have to worry less about the operational costs. E.x: To open a store companies need to purchase/; rent stores, pay the salaries of its store employees, bills( electric, water) taxes and so on, where as in doing online business they need to pay,majorly, for warehouse.
Overall, it is safe to say in future more and more business will be done online.
