How far in advance should an MBA student start looking for a job before graduation?
I’m currently an MBA student scheduled to graduate in December of 2011. I’ve heard of some under graduate students who have been getting job offers with a year of school still left. How far in advance of my graduation should I start applying to new positions?

There really isn’t a rule as to when you should start applying for jobs. But, the earlier you begin, the better the odds are that you’ll have a job when you graduate.

You should have began as an intern somewheres and after graduation if they aren’t looking to put a new person on the payroll at least you have some experience when you look for employment elsewhere.

careers.scienceontheweb.net – I found such internship info here. It has lots of internships, job openings and scolarships for college students.
