How can I pitch a marketing idea to a company without getting screwed?
I have ideas for several companies and I want to pitch it to them, but I don’t know how to go about it. I have no experience in marketing and I want to know how to approach it without loosing any credit for my idea. Any ideas?

Why does my mom and the internet test both think I might be bi-polar?
Yes I am depressed often, and yes I have unexplained energy levels that make me hyper and make me lose sleep. Does that make me bi-polar? Just because my Aunts and their kids are bi-polar doesn’t make me one too.

Unless you mother has a degree in psychology or psychiatry, she should NOT be diagnosing mental health problems for ANYBODY. AND — it is unethical for a doctor to diagnose his or her own family, other than minor illnesses like colds or a broken arm.
As for the Internet, aren’tt you old enough to know that you do NOT believe everything you hear on the internet — even here, from me.
But here is one thing you can ALWAYs count on being true:
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND SEE YOUR DOCTOR!
Tell you mother [in a kind way!!!] to “put up or shut up” –”Put your money where your mouth is”. Tell HER to call the doctor and make the appointment, if she is so damn sure. Else be quite and stop buggin’ you.

It could be. If you are then that’s okay. Your mom loves you and is trying to make you feel better.
But I don’t really know. I’m not a doctor.

You need to be evaluated by a psychiatrist. Bipolar does have a genetic component to it. But, it could also be AHDD.
You need to talk to a professional about this. Ask your mom to make you an appointment.

Seems like its in your blood so there is a possibility that you may have one too. You might have to try more test if you dont believe so and even if you does, it’s not going to make a change of who you are.
Find the solution than rubbing in the pain. Please take care of yourself.

I have seen the parameters psychiatrists use to diagnose a patient as bipolar. It has become so broad over the years (because they add new symptoms to the list as time goes by), that I have yet to meet anyone who couldn’t be diagnosed bipolar at some stage in their life.
I’m assuming you are a teen. Your hormones are surging and that may disturb your sleep. You are depressed often? So are many teens.
I wouldn’t worry unless there is a significant interruption in your life (only sleeping 5 hours every night, getting into a lot of fights, getting “wild” while out with your friends, then not remembering details of the event…these are a few examples of when to worry).
If your mother is really concerned, she can (and should) pony up for a visit to the doctor. Telling you that you are mentally ill without any solid foundation (like being diagnosed by two different psychiatrists) is irresponsible and kinda cruel. Ignore the internet….most of those “web tests” are precursors to wanting to sell you a product or service.
